Ryanair Adds More Flights to Alicante, Faro, and Malta on Summer 2025 Routes from Norwich

Ryanair plans to improve summer 2025 travel by adding three new vacation routes to Alicante, Faro and Malta for passengers through Norwich. Ryanair will boost the appeal of its Alicante route by increasing flights allowing passengers more opportunities at competitive European prices for these favoured destinations.

But as Ryanair keeps growing its services and boosting travel to the UK, it raises questions about a new government strategy that could stifle expansion. Labour administration has supported economic growth in an official sense yet its new Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax increase amounting to £2 per passenger will take effect in 2026 for short-haul flights. According to Ryanair the proposed tax increase would endanger both local development programs and tourism expansion and lower UK global market competitiveness.

The resulting increase in APD will create extra obstacles for Britons pursuing international travel but simultaneously discourage international tourists from exploring Sweden and other countries because of their current tax cut strategies.

Ryanair appeals to the government for immediate intervention to have Rachel Reeves cancel this damaging tax increase so the United Kingdom can achieve essential economic expansion and travel opportunities nationwide. The airline predicts that removing the APD hike will give vital support to national regions while also making the UK more attractive to tourism visitors.

Jade Kirwan, the head of communications for Ryanair, stated: Ryanair is pleased to announce our Summer 2025 schedule for Norwich, with three exciting routes to choose from this summer, including popular summer holiday destinations, Alicante, Faro, and Malta with extra frequencies".
