New Long-Haul Aircraft Added to Lufthansa Group-Eticketdeal.com

The Lufthansa Group presently has over 250 new, fuel-efficient aircraft on its order list, including 100 long-haul aircraft of the newest design, including the most recent aircraft order. The airline has kept an eye on its requirements according to the journey it schedules so the needs can be fulfilled. The extremely efficient twin-engine long-haul jets are expected to gradually replace the four-engine aircraft types that are being phased out in the medium term. These consist of the Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-600, and Boeing 747-400 aircraft models.

The Lufthansa Group is pursuing a long-term fleet strategy, cost efficiency, and emissions reduction with its present fleet of about 740 commercial aircraft. Ten A350-1000s were previously ordered by the Lufthansa Group in March 2023, and delivery are scheduled to begin in April 2026. This 73.8-meter-long aircraft type has about 15% more capacity than the A350-900. It will let the airline travel with more impressive strength on an aircraft with all the required facilities and services.

The latest aircraft in the Lufthansa Group fleet use up to 35% less fuel and produce proportionately lower CO₂ emissions than their predecessors. Through reduction and compensating measures, the Group hopes to cut its net CO₂ emissions in half by 2030 compared to 2019 and reach a neutral CO₂ balance by 2050.

With this action and orders, the airline will add more comfort and facilities to the journey. The Lufthansa Group is on its way to offering a more enjoyable and comfortable flight experience.
